Each limited edition print has been hand-signed by the named player(s) during an organised signing. Each limited edition is individually numbered in the bottom right hand corner, and has its own unique code in the bottom left hand corner.

The text on this print reads as follows: Manchester United's John Fitzpatrick in full length action against Leeds United at Old Trafford, August 1970. Fitzpatrick made 147 appearances for United from 1965 to 1972, and managed to score on 10 occasions.

Authenticity is Everything...

Here at Sporting Legends, we totally understand that authenticity is of the highest importance, when purchasing any hand-signed memorabilia.  That is why we only sell hand-signed memorabilia from organised private signings, enabling us to know exactly where and when every single item was signed.  Please note that we will only ever sell original signatures to our customers - we will never sell copies, facsimiles or reproductions of original signatures.

Certificate of Authenticity...

Every purchase of hand-signed memorabilia from our website is issued wiith a Certificate of Authenticity signed and dated by either Keith or Mark McGlynn, the directors of Sporting Legends (I) Ltd, which guarantees the authenticity of each item and that that every item has been hand-signed.  Other details which are clearly stated on our Certificate of Authenticity are our website address, email address, director's name, and aftal (Autograph Fair Trade Association Ltd) registered dealer number (#096).  Please read the aftal section for more details.  

Photo Proof...

Due to all our items originating from private signings, we are able to provide photo proof for almost every item.  During each signing, we aim to take as many photos as possible, showing the full range of items being signed.  However, it is not always possible to get photo proof of all the items being signed, so from time to time we may happen to miss out on a particular item.  This only happens rarely, but unfortunately is unavoidable.  If photo proof is shown above, then we are happy to email you the proof upon request, once a purchase is made.

Private Signings...

Our private signings are run in a very professional and courteous manner. In the run up to each signing, we deal directly with the personalities involved or through their agent. Our signings are held in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere, either in a private meeting room, the personality's home or at an agreed venue.  We pride ourselves on the way each and every item is handled, and ensure that each signature is given time to dry before collating them. Each person we hold a private signing with is paid for each signature.

Aftal...

The “Autograph Fair Trade Association” ( AFTAL ) was formed with the intention of stamping out the market of fake items and ensuring that the customer is able to find dealers that they can trust.  Inclusion in AFTAL is proof of each dealer’s commitment and professional competence. The Code of Conduct commits each AFTAL approved dealer to providing authentic items, with all the required knowledge, qualification and diligence that that may demand, and is the best possible proof any collector could have when looking to buy authentic signed memorabilia.

We aim to dispatch all orders for small items within 2-3 working days. The shipping rate of each item is clearly stated under the "Delivery" tab on each product page.

Please note that our shipping costs are per order, and not per item, so you may order as many items as you like, and still only be charged the one shipping rate!

We are, however, only human and we also rely on the postal / courier services, so delays occasionally (but rarely) occur. A signature is required on receipt of all orders, so please ensure that someone is available at the delivery address when placing your order. Our framed items are individually framed to order by our specialist framers. For orders within the UK, most framed items are dispatched within 7 working days of your order being placed but please allow up to 14 days for delivery sure. Allow an extra seven days for orders outside the UK. We are, however, only human and we also rely on the postal / courier services, so delays occasionally (but rarely) occur. Returns

Here at Sporting Legends, we are so proud of all our products, we areconfident that you will be equally impressed. So much so, that we offer a full 100% refund policy. If for any reason you are not entirely happy with your purchase, simply return to us at the address below in re-saleable condition within seven days of delivery and we will provide a full refund.

Unwanted Items

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, simply return the item or items to us in their original condition within 7 days of receipt. We will issue a full refund (excluding original delivery charge) upon the safe receipt of the item(s) at our head office in Manchester. If preferred, we can also offer a replacement item.

Please note: The item is your responsibility until it reaches us. For your own protection, we recommend that you send the parcel using a delivery service that insures you for the value of the goods. Alternatively contact us in case we can arrange more economical collection on your behalf.

* The cost of returning an unwanted item to us is your responsibility.


Faulty / Damaged Items

If the item you received is faulty or damaged, please contact our customer care immediately on +44 (0) 161 9622288 or by emailing details to [email protected] quoting your order number, your name and address, details of the product and the reason for return, and whether you require a refund or a replacement. We will then advise on how to proceed with the return. You have 14 days from receipt of the faulty / damaged item to return it to us. In this case, if a full refund is requested, we will issue a full refund (including original delivery charge) up on the safe receipt of the item(s) at our head office in Manchester. If preferred, we can also offer a replacement item.

* The cost of returning a faulty / damaged item to us is our responsibility.


I received the wrong item

If the item you received is not what you originally ordered, please contact our customer care immediately on +44 (0) 161 9622288 or by emailing details to [email protected] quoting your order number, your name and address, details of the product and the reason for return, and whether you require a refund or a replacement. We will then advise on how to proceed with the return. You have 14 days from receipt of the wrong item to return it to us.
